Rayburn Stoves - Installation & Servicing
Icon Group Services provide servicing and installation of Rayburn stoves.
Why get a Rayburn?
A Rayburn stove is a cast iron cooking and heating appliance, which creates a warm, cosy environment at the heart of your home. Rayburns can be gas, LPG, solid fuel or oil fired, and can provide warmth throughout your house, even in the depths of winter. They provide an excellent means of cooking food, and are manufactured entirely in Britain, using recycled iron.
How much heat will it produce?
Many people worry that a Rayburn will be too hot, or not hot enough - however modern stoves come with thermostatic controls to regulate the temperature. Many also include timers and independent controls for heating, hot water and cooking.
It is important to choose a stove which provides just the right amount of heat, and we will help you make an informed choice that is right for your home.
Can it save me money?
Rayburns are designed to create and store heat efficiently. When used for heating, hot water and cooking, the fuel efficiency is at least equal to the separate provision of these functions, if not better.
During general use, the stove emits heat into the room like a radiator, which saves money on running conventional radiators in the room.
The running costs will depend on the style, location and fuel type of your appliance, and any savings will also depend on your existing system. Our engineers will be able to discuss the costs and savings with you, which will be specific to your home.
Installing a Rayburn
If you would like to have a Rayburn installed, the first step is to have a site visit, when one of our engineers will inspect the planned location for the appliance. This usually requires an outside wall for the flue, but specialist flue systems are available for other locations. We will discuss all your needs and requirements with you, offering assistance and guidance throughout the process.
Once everything is agreed, we'll arrange a convenient date for the work to begin. All of our engineers are experienced, with excellent standards, and are registered with Gas Safe, HETAS, and OFTEC. We are also Rayburn Guild approved contractors. We provide a full service, and we take care to provide you with a top quality installation with no hidden costs. We also offer ongoing maintenance and servicing of Rayburn stoves.
